L is for Learning.

Today I decided to finally sit down and install the panoramic software that came with my camera. It didn’t take long to learn how to use it. In fact, I think the installation took longer. Here’s what I have:

This is my first one. The tiles in the corner didn’t line up perfectly but that’s barely noticeable. Its definitely something I’m going to have to work on.

The lesson here is that learning something new is different for every bit of knowledge. Some things take 5 minutes to learn, but years of practice to make it perfect. Somethings take much longer to learn and lots of failed attempts to get it right. It all depends on the task, how much time you put into it, and how much dedication you have. If it’s something you really want to learn, its going to happen, you will learn it eventually, simply because you want it. If its something you aren’t interested in, you wont learn it as quickly, or at all.

I guess really, it depends on you and your motives. You are in control.

I'd love to hear your thoughts!
