Weekly Photo Challenge: Beneath Your Feet

Lots of things happen beneath your feet that you don’t even realize. How often do we step on things that we didn’t even know were there? There are thousands, probably millions or billions of tiny organisms under our feet every time we take a step. There are also lots of buried things deep in the ground beneath us that we don’t give a second thought to.

But even with all of these tiny, or buried, things that we can’t see, there are somethings that we can see if we just look. Here is a mushroom that’s taken a bit of a beating. Whether that was from being stepped on or some other reason, I don’t know, but it’s there and thousands of people have probably walked by it without taking the time to look.

Take some time to look at the small plants and creatures that you may have otherwise stepped on.
