Discover Challenge: Opening Line

“It was the first time, and it wouldn’t be the last.”

If you have followed my blog, specifically my photography, you know that I take a lot of picture of the moon. They may all look the same to most people, but I see the small differences. While the moon is tidally locked with the Earth, meaning that it rotates at just the right rate that we always see the same side of it, you can see some slight differences in orientation from month to month. That’s what I saw when I did the Full Moon Challenge in 2013.

So for this, Discover Challenge, I thought I’d share with you my every first ever picture of the moon! Well, it’s possibly not my very first ever, but it’s the oldest one that I currently have.

I know that it’s not exactly the best picture of the moon, but give me a break! It was my (maybe) first one! I took this in my senior year of high school, when I was just starting to get into photography.
